Product Description
Lightweight Aluminum-Skin Refrigerated Truck Body
About 15–20% lighter than an FRP body — more cargo within the same load limit and lower fuel consumption.
Product Introduction
The lightweight aluminum-skin refrigerated truck body uses pre-coated aluminum sheet (5083 / 5052 grades) as the outer skin, bonded to a high-density polyurethane insulation core. Compared with an FRP-skinned body of the same size, the body itself is about 15–20% lighter.
That weight saving shows up directly in operations: under the same gross weight limits, the truck can carry more cargo, and at equal payload, fuel consumption is lower — so long-term running costs come down. The pre-coated baked finish on the aluminum skin resists UV and weathering and keeps the body looking clean over time. This body suits cold-chain fleets that are sensitive to payload utilization.

Factory & Process Credentials
Binglingfang (Qingdao Yakai Automotive Industry And Trade Co., Ltd.)'s lightweight design is built on a fully enclosed, frame-free structure — the refrigerated and insulated bodies have no metal frame or connectors, making them about 15–25% lighter than comparable domestic products. Sandwich panels are formed in a single vacuum hot-press cycle on a German imported press, bonding the aluminum skin and polyurethane core tightly for strength and insulation in one panel. 36 years of special-purpose vehicle manufacturing and in-house production lines keep panel quality consistent.
