Product Introduction

The 6.8 m refrigerated truck body is manufactured with the one-piece polyurethane (PU) foam injection process. Liquid polyurethane is injected between the inner and outer skins and foams and cures in a single shot, forming a seamless, monolithic insulation layer that largely eliminates the cold bridges and joints found in traditional panel-built structures. Thermal performance stays stable and reliable as a result.

With an interior length of 6.8 m and an interior height of 2.48 m, the body offers about 40.7 m³ of cargo space for palletized and bulk frozen or chilled goods. A reinforced floor frame raises the floor load rating to 2,000 kg/m², suiting heavier loads on mid- to long-haul runs. The body fits medium-duty chassis in the 8–12 t gross vehicle weight range, making it a mainstay for regional trunk cold-chain transport.

Factory & Process Credentials

Binglingfang (Qingdao Yakai Automotive Industry And Trade Co., Ltd.) was among the earlier special-purpose vehicle makers in China to complete the shift to polyurethane production lines — the transition was made in 2016 and PU foam production started in 2017 — and its injection foaming technology is mature. The one-piece PU foam insulation layer has a closed-cell ratio of ≥95% and a thermal conductivity of about 0.022 W/(m·K), which keeps heat loss low at equal thickness and can cut long-haul refrigeration energy use by more than 30%. With no metal frame, the body is roughly 200–500 kg lighter than conventional structures.
