Constant Temperature Chick Transport Vehicle - 8 Integrated Systems
The constant temperature model builds on the ventilated base with 8 integrated systems. This isn't just "adding an A/C unit" — it's a complete environmental control solution.
1. Refrigeration System
Independent engine + independent A/C system. Cooling capacity: 50-70kW. The independent engine means cooling keeps running while the truck is parked with the main engine off.
2. Heating System
Fuel-fired heater + expansion tank + hot water coils + fans. Heat output: 15-35kW. In sub-zero winter conditions, interior temperature stays above 22°C.
3. Environmental Control System
The brain of the operation. Fresh/return/exhaust air control. Temperature, humidity, CO₂, and pressure sensors feed real-time data to automatically adjust damper positions.
4. Humidification System
High-pressure pump + water mist nozzles + tank + stainless steel piping. Long-distance transport needs humidity management, not just temperature.
5. Loading System
Transport trolleys with locking bars. Standard KLC hydraulic lift gate. The 9.6m model comes with 24 trolleys, 26 boxes per trolley.
6. Filtration System
Bag-type primary filter for chick down (feathers/fluff). Chicks shed down during transport, which clogs evaporator fins over time. This system handles that.
7. Monitoring System
Interior camera + backup camera. Driver sees the cargo area from the cab in real time.
8. Emergency System
Chassis-powered generator + backup power supply. If the main engine fails, environmental control continues.
All equipment is mounted inside the body — no external units visible. Unlike standard refrigerated trucks with a front-mounted condenser, the constant temperature chick vehicle looks clean and can't be mistaken for a regular reefer.
Operating range: ambient -35°C to +40°C. Target interior: 22-26°C. CO₂ limit: ≤3000 PPM (target 2800). Body material: FRP skin with insulation core.
